Nicolaus Copernicus

Hello world,

Here is just a little preview, a taste of the blog post about my latest trip. A trip that took me through the great red castle of Teutonic knights, a space travel adventure, and the house of the exceptional Copernicus.

"Nicolaus Copernicus

"Nicolaus Copernicus of Torun, mover of the earth, stopper of the sun and heavens"

Stay tuned!

From Germany to Torun

Dear world,

tomorrow early morning I leave for Germany and after two days I shall move onto the very old and beautiful city of Copernicus, Torun. Keep updated by following me on Twitter!

"For a traveler going from any place toward the north,
that pole of the daily rotation gradually climbs higher,
while the opposite pole drops down an equal amount."

Mark Twain

Dear world,

for today's post, a very cliche but close to my heart quote by Mark Twain.

"Twenty years from now you will be more
disappointed by the things that you didn't do
than the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover."

So my dear friends, travel, discover, make your dreams come true. There is no better day than today to start!

Till later world.

The kitten, the sunset, and the hare

Hello world,

I thought I will make myself a little break from all the changes and show you something wonderful. Having spent last week in a little town in Poland, I had a lot of time to go outside, relax and take pictures. I visited one particular place very often, a horse stable just outside of the town. Apart from horses and boars this place had a magnificent view over the fields as well as about a dozen, four week old kittens.

The View

(Ola breathing in the fresh air and bathing in the setting sun)

(Here, the red light shines on the border between the thick forest and vast fields)

The Kittens

The little guys like to sleep in old game machines, cuddling with their mother and chasing
each others' tails.

Hunting, an innate instinct of cats. They just know what to do.

Cuddling is one of the most enjoyed activities of kittens.

The sunset

The hare

Just as we were turning into the main road, a hare jumped out in front of us,
bidding us goodbye.

Sometimes it is nice to get away from the city and breath in the fresh air of untouched forests and calm our minds in the setting sun.

I sincerely apologise for neglecting my blogging responsibilities but I have been thinking about change. Changes that I wish to make to this blog. Please bear with me a little longer and I will be back on track, bringing you stories from around the world.
